Cheryl grew up with the plush and seasonal beauty of flora in the Deep South, having lived in Arkansas, Louisiana, southern Missouri and Georgia prior to living in Texas. Cheryl’s love of gardening began as a toddler in her grandmother’s gardens, which frequently won yard of the month. Today, transplants from those gardens thrive in her personal landscape. Cheryl's gardens have recently been certified as a “Butterfly Habitat” by Texas Discovery Gardens, of which she is a member. Cheryl is a certified Texas Master Gardener, member of the Dallas County Master Gardener Association, and currently serves in the association with the Hospitality Committee. Periodically, she writes articles for their monthly newsletter.
Prior to joining Lambert's, Cheryl owned a landscape design and service business, as well as an event planning company. She enjoys a 25+ year marriage to her "Louisiana" husband, supportive friends, motivational speaking, party planning with diverse culinary creations, creative writing, and her two cats. She considers it a privilege and personal blessing to be of services to Lambert's clientele.
