Previously with us for over five years as a Project Manager, Ron spent 7 years in the Chicago area as a Buyer for a large Design Build Landscape Company with a similar culture to Lamberts. He has returned to the Garden Development team as our Purchasing & Production Support Manager
Ron has been in the Green Industry on a professional level since 1970. He was a member of TNLA and served on the board of the Landscape Contractors Association. While attending College he and a friend started a Landscape Company and made enough money to pay for the next year tuition, books and some of the rent, to which his father was certainly happy to hear.
Starting in Structural Architecture, he changed his Major to Landscape Architecture while attending The University of Texas Arlington. Doing freelance design at a local Nursery, he was able to continue to subsidize his expense for college.
Ron has experienced all facets of this business including Maintenance, Irrigation, Commercial Landscape and Residential Landscape installation. Ron enjoys sailing, sail boat racing, camping, cooking, pottery, and certainly gardening.
